NEE Warranty
NEE Warranty (1yr from Date of Installation)
We back our workmanship with a warranty period of 1yr from date of installation. We also warranty materials, so long as those materials are both supplied & installed by NEE.
In the case of customer-supplied materials, we back our workmanship. If the customer-supplied materials or device is faulty, it is not covered by NEE. The faulty materials or device may be covered by the manufacturer or the retailer it was purchased from, but the client has to settle that with them directly.
With regard to a follow-up visit for potential warranty repairs. If we failed to do something correctly the first time around (ex: loose connections, improperly wired, etc.) we do not charge the client for the time to remedy these issues.
If the issue is not related to workmanship completed, for example if a customer-supplied device (fan, light, etc.) is faulty, then we do charge to remove the faulty device & reinstall the replacement device.
And the same rule applies to any new electrical work required to remedy the issue. For example, if we did not do something we should have on our first visit (and hence we did not charge the client for it) they will incur the labor charge for this additional work when we complete it on the warranty visit.
